Multiple seams that won't come undone. The fly ears are all handmade and unique pieces. All saddle pads and fly ears are "handmade" with love.

Doc Caro x TORPOL® Sport Cut™ Saddle Pad Sport
The Doc Caro x TORPOL® Sport Cut™ saddle pad is made from one piece of material without a back seam, no annoying straps or other elements in the area of the spine. The 3D mesh insert in the withers area guarantees excellent air circulation. The unique cut ensures that the saddle pad fits perfectly to the horse's back. Extremely light. Made from quilted, shiny, abrasion-resistant and easy-care B-NEV™ fabric. The inner layer made of Evolon® is characterized by excellent moisture-absorbing, breathable and drying properties. The design is protected as an industrial design within the European Union.

Doc Caro
Germany's most famous emergency doctor, Doc Caro, is a doctor out of conviction and she is also a horse riding enthusiast! On social media, in her books and on TV, she uses her reach as a doctor to explain complex medical topics in an easy-to-understand manner and to draw attention to important issues.

On her “horsey” Instagram channel “dreimalvierhufe” she takes us through her everyday life in the stable with Bella, Hasi and Qasi. And here too Caro uses her reach for the important topic of “safety in equestrian sports”.
Doc Caro collection
The idea of designing a saddle pad for one's own horses led to the development of the first small, fine Doc Caro collection due to the high demand - jointly by Caro, the Torpol manufacturer and Löw Reitsport.
Caro's design ideas, coupled with Torpol's product know-how, outstanding workmanship and quality with selected, high-quality fabrics and a lot of fun in the project work have produced the "Doc Caro Equestrian" saddle pads and earnets.
And that's not all: Caro donates all the income generated through this collaboration to a good cause: She supports Amistad horse riding therapy: Horse-assisted therapy can be a valuable help for body, mind and soul for a wide range of handicaps, but also in difficult life situations. Unfortunately, health insurance companies still generally refuse to finance this form of therapy.
