saddle pads
Saddle pads and saddle pads have a shock-absorbing effect, compensate for saddles that don't quite fit, raise the saddle a little or improve the grip of the saddle if it tends to slip.
Saddle pads therefore primarily have to fulfil certain functions.
The saddle pad is located between the horse's back and the saddle. It is designed to protect the horse's back by evenly distributing the pressure from the saddle and rider. On the other hand, there should not be too much material between the saddle and the horse's back so that the fit of the saddle is not negatively affected.
In general, the saddle pad should rest on the horse's back over a large area in order to distribute the pressure as widely as possible. The material must be thin but elastic. It should also be soft enough to hug the horse's back.
